OVOX supports its customers in areas including Requirements Analysis, Requirements Management, Functional Safety, Automotive SPICE®, and Systems Engineering.>> read more

Decisions on interfaces, compliance with standards, functional safety, and whether a function should be implemented in hardware, software, or as a hybrid solution require in - depth expertise in hardware, software, and the specific application of the device being developed.

In the automotive industry, topics such as driver assistance systems, autonomous and semi-autonomous driving, and interlinked vehicles are becoming increasingly important. Alongside electromobility, autonomous driving is emerging as a major future market. To support this, all control units involved in autonomous driving must be newly developed, and new control units must be designed.

Requirements Management

OVOX Requirements Management is storing, categorizing and cataloging all collected information to achieve traceability. >> read more

By targeted qualitative and quantitative reports on the requirements database the requirements management identifies potential issues at the right moment, enabling timely corrective actions.

In addition, the requirements management creates detailed plans and aligns them with the other departments as part of the overall project plan. Likewise, he versions and publishes the requirement documents for the project milestones.

The status of the requirements analysis must be documented and regularly updated in reports to ensure ongoing control and confirm the completeness of the requirements at all stages.

OVOX Requirements Management takes on these tasks your project, ensuring that all information is accurately placed, up-to-date, and versioned correctly at every stage.

Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

OVOX supports you in the complex application of ISO 26262, assists with ASIL analyses, helps to decompose system-critical functions, defines product security objectives of your product, and guides you through the implementation of the standard across your organization.>> read more

ISO 26262 is an international standard for safety-relevant electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles. Its goal is to ensure the functional safety of systems with electrical and electronic components in vehicles. The standard primarily focuses on vehicles with a total weight of up to 3500 kg.

ISO 26262 consists of ten parts, covering the following topics:

  1. Vocabulary
  2. Management of functional safety
  3. Concept phase
  4. Produktentwicklung: Systemebene
  5. Product development: System level
  1. Product development: Software level
  2. Production, operation, and decommissioning
  3. Supporting processes
  4. ASIL and safety-oriented analyses
  5. Guidelines (informative only)

Automotive SPICE®

OVOX helps you design processes that are Automotive SPICE® compliant and provides expert guidance to achieve the required SPICE level during an assessment. We also advise and train your employees on applying the Automotive SPICE® guidelines in their daily work.>> read more

Automotive SPICE® is a domain-specific extension of the international standard ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), designed to evaluate the performance of development processes in the automotive industry. Developed by the Automotive Special Interest Group (AUTOSIG) in 2001,
Automotive SPICE® is a key tool for assessing supplier development processes in the automotive sector.

German automotive manufacturers Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche, and Volkswagen have agreed on a common scope of minimum processes to be included in an assessment within the framework of the HIS (Manufacturer Initiative for Software). Since January 1, 2007, these manufacturers have only accepted Automotive SPICE® assessments for joint project development with their suppliers.

Whether you're just starting withy Automotive SPICE® or looking to optimize your existing processes, OVOX has the expertise to guide you through the complexities of Automotive SPICE® and help you achieve your desired capability levels.
